Our History in the Neighborhood

The Ida Culver House Ravenna building was first built in 1949, and Era Living has operated it as a retirement community for more than 30 years.

• We are proud to be part of the community and provide a home here for 90 residents.

• We host educational and social events free for the community throughout the year, including art shows, annual summer neighborhood picnic and a concert series. (Currently virtual during COVID).

• We are a platinum sponsor of NEST (Northeast Seattle Together), a local “village” that supports neighborhood seniors. We are also a sponsor and collaborator with the University of Washington (UW) School of Nursing, UW School of Social Work and UW School of Pharmacy.
